Halle Berry Explains Why She Hasn't Accepted Boyfriend Van Hunt's Marriage Proposal Yet

Halle Berry and Van Hunt are stepping out for date night!

The couple, who have been together since 2020, kept super close as they headed to a restaurant for a dinner date on Tuesday night (February 3) in New York City.

For their outing, the 59-year-old Oscar-winning actress wore a gray coat over jeans paired with black boots while the 55-year-old musician sported a green coat, plaid shirt, and green pants.

In a new interview, Halle explained why she hasn’t accepted Van‘s proposal yet, after he asked her to marry him in June 2025.

However, she did say that her exceptions to getting married again would be for “health reasons” or the access and right to make crucial medical decisions as a legal spouse.

Also in the new interview, Halle explained why she believes that that winning an Oscar didn’t alter her career trajectory.
