Agents Seize Multiple Items From Home of Savannah Guthrie's Sister Annie
The home of Savannah Guthrie's sister, Annie, is reportedly "crawling" with law enforcement agents, who have also taken items from the house.
TMZ reported Wednesday that there are photos that show a man wearing an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) shirt arriving at Annie's home. Per the outlet, the man also appeared to have a bag over his shoulder.
It's unclear why ICAC is involved in the investigation into the disappearance of Savannah and Annie's mother, Nancy. TMZ also noted that "the box with a strap over his shoulder is believed to be a forensic extraction device used to access data from smartphones, SIM cards and more."
Per the organization's website, ICAC was developed in 1998 and "helps state and local law enforcement agencies develop an effective response to technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and Internet crimes against children. This assistance encompasses forensic and investigative components, training and technical assistance, victim services, and community education."
Nancy Guthrie disappeared on January 31, 2026
Annie shares the home with her husband Tommaso Cioni, and the couple are believed to be the last people who saw Nancy before she disappeared on January 31, 2026.
TMZ also noted that reporters outside the home said agents have removed items, though it was not immediately clear what they took.
On Wednesday, February 4, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos offered an update on the investigation into Nancy's whereabouts. While speaking to the hosts of Today, Nanos said, "We have nothing else to go on but the belief that she is here, she's present, she's alive, and we want to save her." It's believed that Nancy was taken from her home against her will.
Nancy Guthrie's pacemaker stopped syncing Sunday
Authorities have also shared this week that Nancy's pacemaker stopped syncing with her Apple device on Sunday, February 1 — before she was reported as missing. Audio dispatch records gathered by People revealed Nancy has cardiac concerns and high blood pressure.
Nancy was last seen at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 31, at her home, which is located near East Skyline Drive and North Campbell Avenue. Nanos previously described the conditions of the home as "very concerning."
“We took some samples that we hope would have profile of a DNA, profile that gives us some identification as to what we’re looking at,” he explained. Nanos also said that while Nancy has “no cognitive issues,” she is not currently in good physical health.
Savannah Guthrie has asked for prayers
On Monday, February 2, Savannah appealed to her social media followers for prayers. Savannah wrote, “we believe in prayer. we believe in voices raised in unison, in love, in hope. we believe in goodness. we believe in humanity. above all, we believe in Him.”
She added: “thank you for lifting your prayers with ours for our beloved mom, our dearest Nancy, a woman of deep conviction, a good and faithful servant. raise your prayers with us and believe with us that she will be lifted by them in this very moment.”
