FBI Responds to 'New Message' About Nancy Guthrie as Search Continues for Savannah's Mom
The FBI has released a statement regarding a “new message” regarding Nancy Guthrie, the missing mother of Today host Savannah Guthrie.
The search continues for Nancy, who police believe was abducted from her home this past weekend. While there have been reports of ransom notes, nothing has yet been confirmed and police are still looking for leads.
Tucson news outlet KOLD reported on Friday (February 6) that they received a new letter that they forwarded to law enforcement, along with the “IP address from where the note came from. The IP address is not the same IP address, but it appears the sender used the same type of secure server to hide their IP address.”
The outlet reports that “the new note contains information the senders seem to think will prove to investigators they’re the same people who sent the first note.”
The FBI released a statement in response.

The FBI said a $50,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the recovery of Nancy Guthrie or an arrest in the case.”
Savannah‘s brother released a statement on Thursday night with a message for the alleged captors.
