Former White House cardiologist Jonathan Reiner says Donald Trump’s claim that he takes aspirin against medical advice makes little sense. Reiner, who served as VP Dick Cheney’s doctor, criticized the president’s logic in keeping his blood “nice and thin” and raised broader concerns about the lack of meaningful information on Trump’s health. Reiner has also called for a congressional inquiry into the president’s mental fitness, citing Trump’s reaction to not winning the Nobel Peace Prize and his letter to Norway questioning his obligation to prioritize peace.
