Home Alone's Daniel Stern's Prostitution Charge Dismissed
Daniel Stern had a good day in court.
On Friday (February 6), the 68-year-old Home Alone star had a prostitution charge against him dismissed in Ventura County, Calif., according to reporting by EW.
The charge stemmed from a citation that was issued against Daniel in December 2025. Though he was not taken into custody, he was cited by authorities for allegedly soliciting prostitution at a hotel in Camarillo on December 10.

The Ventura County District Attorney’s Office shared a statement with EW about Friday’s court decision: “The defendant did what he was supposed to do,” they said. “He completed his education class and earned a dismissal. This is our standard disposition for first-time prostitution offenses.”
His attorney Blair Berk represented him in court, according to the California Post.
“The case was dismissed with prejudice as it should have been from the start and we’re very pleased,” he said in a statement shared with the outlet.
Daniel himself does not appear to have issued a personal statement yet.
In January, it was reported that Daniel had exited a project following the charge.
