Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a historic landing at the Northeast's first Emergency Landing Facility in Assam's Dibrugarh district. The facility, a 4.2-km reinforced stretch on National Highway-37, will serve as a strategic runway for the Indian Air Force. It will bolster defence, logistics, and disaster response capabilities in the region.
