Eric Dane's Final 2 Acting Projects Revealed

Eric Dane will be seen on screen in two more projects.

The late actor passed away on Thursday (February 19) after a battle with ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) at the age of 53.

Prior to his death, Eric filmed two projects – a movie and a television show – that have yet to be released.

Eric will next be seen in the upcoming third and final season of Euphoria, reprising his role as Cal Jacobs, the father to Jacob Elordi‘s Nate Jacobs. The capacity to which he appears is currently unknown, but since there is a wedding between Nate and Sydney Sweeney‘s Cassie, we can assume that Eric’s character will appear at his son’s nuptials.

Euphoria season three is slated to premiere on HBO on April 12th. Watch the trailer here.

Series creator Sam Levinson has also released a statement mourning Eric‘s death.

“I’m heartbroken by the loss of our dear friend Eric. Working with him was an honor. Being his friend was a gift. Eric’s family is in our prayers. May his memory be for a blessing,” he said, via Variety.

In addition to Euphoria, Eric is also set to appear in the upcoming thriller movie Family Secrets.

Here’s a synopsis, via IMDb: A young man infiltrates a wedding to seek revenge on the bride’s grandfather by befriending the groom and seducing the bride.

Also in the cast include Thomas Doherty, Hannah Dodd, Hermoine Corfield, James Dreyfus, Maia Mitchell and Tyriq Withers. Malik Vitthal is directing, with a script by Emily Siegel and Shanrah Wakefield, based on a story by Emily and Mark Townend.

A release date has not been revealed at this time.

Eric‘s other recent works include the movies Borderline, One Fast Move, Bad Boys: Ride or Die and Americana, and the TV series Brilliant Minds.
