Cat Missal Confirms She's Gay in 'Tell Me Lies' Finale Interview, Talks Longtime Partner Jess Panneton

Cat Missal is opening up about her sexuality following the series finale of Tell Me Lies.

The 26-year-old actress, who plays Bree on the Hulu drama series, chatted with Teen Vogue about the toxic men on the show and joked how she’s glad she’ll never have to deal with them in real life.

“Well, I am gay, so thank God,” Cat told the mag.

Cat has been in a longtime relationship with partner Jess Panneton, who was sitting next to her during the interview.

“You’re safe with me,” Jess told Cat while grinning at her.

The couple revealed that they met at a drag show in West Hollywood, which Cat was attending with two of her sisters.

“I just thought you were so cool,” Cat told Jess. “It just felt kismet because they were like, ‘Who are you flirting with? Who’s that?’ And now we’re all family.”

It’s unclear when the couple started dating, but Jess posted about Cat for Valentine’s Day all the way back in 2020.

The creator of Tell Me Lies has confirmed the fate of every character.
