Former Lafayette Mayor-President Josh Guillory was indicted by a St. Martin Parish grand jury on four counts of malfeasance in office related to the removal and reconstruction of a spoil bank along the Vermilion River, with the defense team arguing that the project had been redesigned to ensure the work fell outside of federal jurisdiction.
