Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has launched the National Monetisation Pipeline 2.0, aiming for over Rs 16.7 lakh crore in receipts by 2029-30. This ambitious program, a significant increase from its predecessor, will see proceeds allocated across government funds and direct private investment. Key infrastructure assets like major expressways and hydropower stations are slated for monetisation.
