Jennifer Garner Shares What It's Like to Co-Parent with Ben Affleck

Jennifer Garner is sharing what it has been like managing co-parenting with her ex-husband Ben Affleck.

Speaking to Bustle in a new interview, Jennifer said she becomes “mom and dad; he becomes dad and mom” regarding their kids Violet, 20, Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 13, as they grow up in “two separate households.”

“You kind of can’t help it, right? Because you don’t have the benefit of both sides of the yin and yang being in the same house. And so you have to have a bit of both in the way that you parent,” Jennifer explained.

However, The Last Thing He Told Me star also admitted, “There’s a little bit of loss in that, but there’s also something gained in that.”

Last month, Jennifer opened up with rare comments about how “hard” the divorce from Ben was for her.
