Japanese tech firm NTT Data plans to hire 5,000 employees in India this year, driven by a doubling of large IT contracts exceeding $100 million. The company is also investing $1.5 billion in four new data centers in India, a move supported by government tax holidays and the country's significant data presence with limited capacity.
