Twisted Sister Recruits Legendary Hard Rocker to Sing for Anniversary Tour
Dee Snider has resigned from glam rock band, Twister Sister, as he gets help with his health issues. The remaining members of the band have drafted a new singer to belt out his take on late-80s anthems, "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock," for new and old audiences.
They were planning a tour when Snider's health became too challenging and too hard on his body, and they canceled last month before making a big change in their lineup.
Who's The New Vocalist?
Sebastian Bach, of Skid Row and Hep Alien, will replace him as the band’s vocalist as they prep for a 50th Anniversary Tour.
“Twisted Sister members Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda are thrilled to announce that iconic vocalist and frontman Sebastian Bach will be fronting the band for a handful of select dates this fall,” they wrote in a statement saying, “These appearances do not affect or conflict with Sebastian’s current or future solo touring schedule, which remains fully intact.”
Bach sang for Skid Row until 1996 when he left the band after an argument with other band members about being an opening act instead of a headline for a tour with KISS.
Is Dee Snider Ok?
Snider, 70, assures fans he's "not dead" just getting some help with his current health issues. He suffers from degenerative arthritis and has had several surgeries over the years.
