Microsoft extends support for the classic Outlook app again

The phase-out of the classic Outlook app has been significantly delayed, as Microsoft’s developers have had a difficult time adding the missing features from classic Outlook to the new Outlook app.
It’s now clear that Microsoft has decided to extend support for classic Outlook, which was originally slated to end in April 2026, by nearly an entire year to March 2027, reports Windows Latest. Enterprise users can continue to use classic Outlook until April 2029.
In addition to more features, the classic Outlook app offers better performance, which is widely appreciated by users and one of the main reasons why people are reluctant to switch to the new Outlook.
