Nicole Kidman Makes First Statement About Keith Urban Split, How She's Doing & What She's Focused On

Nicole Kidman is making a rare comment about her life after splitting from Keith Urban.

If you didn’t know, it was announced on September 29, 2025 that the 58-year-old Oscar-winning actress and the 58-year-old Grammy-winning singer had separated after 19 years of marriage. The following day, she filed divorce, which was finalized in January.

Variety asked if she’s doing alright after her separation. Nicole responded, “I am, because I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good. What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that. Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect. I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family,’ and that’s what we’ll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.”

On her 2025, she remarked, “I had other things going on. I was in my shell.”

And if she’ll continue her life in Nashville, she said, “Yes. We have our life here. I’m part of the city and community for 20 years. It’s my home. ”
