Putting Vicente at right back isn’t variation?

I just walked to the supermarket (out of mixers for our stash of spirits) and was thinking about this substitution/replying to my brother's rant about it.

What bugged me is that I looked at those changes and thought "fair play to CD, he's going to try something really different here and it's probably what we really need."

How naive was I to think he was going 3-5-2? I looked at them coming on and thought Vicente and Gray would be wing backs, with Roberts asked to give us a threat through the middle as a 10 and Ducksch and Stansfield up front together.

Of course, what we got instead was Vicente and Roberts as overlapping right backs.
