Conan O’Brien is getting ready for his big night!

The 62-year-old comedian and late-night host will be serving as host of the 2026 Oscars for the second time on Sunday night (March 15).

Ahead of the big event, we decided to put together some fun facts about his wife, Liza Powell O’Brien.

If you didn’t know, Conan first met Liza, 55, back in 1999 when he filmed a segment for his talk show Late Night With Conan O’Brien at an advertising agency in New York City, where she worked.

“I walk into this room of 11 people, so we’re sitting here with the creative team at FCB [Foote, Cone & Belding], and everyone here is in black, which is, I guess, a New York advertising thing,” Conan shared on The Michelle Obama Podcast in 2020. “I immediately start talking to her [Liza], and then I’m not even trying to be funny … I’m just trying to find out more about this woman.”

The two then started dating and married in 2002. They then welcomed their daughter Neve in October 2003 and then son Beckett in November 2005.

Over the years, Conan and Liza have worked together several times at his Team Coco production company.

In an interview with Newsweek in July 2022, Liza sang her praises for Conan for his work ethic.

“That’s something that Conan has always been really good about is collecting nice people around him and appreciating them and benefiting from what they have to offer,” Liza said. “Most of the time, people seem very happy to be working with him and I’m certainly benefiting from that.”
