He also claimed security had improved across the country, presenting the Taliban administration as capable of maintaining stability after years of conflict.

The Taliban leader again called for internal unity, saying cohesion among members is essential for governing Afghanistan and maintaining order nationwide.

In recent weeks, Pakistani air and artillery strikes targeted suspected militant hideouts in Afghanistan border, escalating tensions between Kabul authorities and Islamabad.

Clashes along the frontier have intensified, with both sides accusing each other of harboring militants as the conflict fuels civilian casualties.

Akhundzada’s message came as the Taliban leadership faces growing security pressures, highlighting the widening gap between official claims and realities on the ground.
