GMA's Sam Champion Undergoes Heart Procedure, Shares Positive Update From the Hospital

Good Morning America weatherman Sam Champion underwent what appears to be a serious heart procedure after something was found on his nuclear stress test.

The 64-year-old TV personality shared some photos from his hospital bed at the Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital in New York City.

On Sunday (March 22), he posted, “Thank you Dr. Stam Lerakis and Dr.sharma and the WONDERFUL team of nurses at @mountsinaimedicalcenter Fuster Heart Hospital ! Many of you know I had a nuclear stress test last Thursday. And we found some things that needed to be taken care of so today. I went in to the cardiac catheterization laboratory….. and we took care of it. Thanks to these procedures. I am well and expected to make a full recovery.❤️”
