Man, 65, shot in North Lawndale

A 65-year-old man was hospitalized after being shot in North Lawndale Wednesday night, according to Chicago police.

The man was in the 1300 block of South Kedzie Avenue at 5:54 p.m. when he was shot in the neck, police said in a statement. He was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said.

No one is in custody, police said.
