Pols demand Mamdani spare FDNY from budget cuts, invest in repairing dilapidated firehouses

A bipartisan group of lawmakers urged the mayor not to cut the FDNY's budget -- and to fund long-overdue renovations at crumbling firehouse -- saying funding has remained stagnant for five years.
