US agents have detained Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter. Their green card status was revoked by Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The State Department stated Afshar supported Iran's government. This detention follows similar action against Fatemeh Ardeshir-Larijani, daughter of Ali Larijani. Both pairs are now barred from entering the United States.
