Reuters

BUENOS AIRES, March 24 (Reuters) - Managing Argentina's new Super Rugby franchise is turning into the kind of edge-of-your-seat ride that first tempted New Zealander Greg Peters to take up a key role with the Argentine Rugby Union (UAR).

SE Asia Stocks-Most retreat; Singapore falls ahead of budget

Reuters

BANGKOK, March 24 (Reuters) - Most Southeast Asian stock markets retreated on Thursday, with Singapore hitting a more than one-week low ahead of budget while a stronger dollar capped risk appetite in the region. Reuters

Letter: Lowered academic standards unacceptable

The Post and Courier

The March 15 Post and Courier front page article about changing the high school grading scale was upsetting to me and several other retired educator friends. What seems to be proposed is a lowering of overall grading standards for the purpose of making students more eligible for NCAA athletic and other scholarships.

Letter: Lincoln's prophetic voice

The Post and Courier

There’s been a lot of talk lately about what’s happening to the "party of Lincoln." Abraham Lincoln said, "You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time."

Letter: Time to get past partisan behavior

The Post and Courier

I don’t get it. Regarding the Supreme Court vacancy, Sen. Mitch McConnell states that "Republicans think the people deserve a voice in this critical decision."

GOP reaping what it sowed

The Post and Courier

As I watch what is happening in the debacle now known as the Republican Party, I am thoroughly amazed at the reaction of mainstream members of the GOP. One would think the members of the party have no idea as to why we see violence erupting at Mr. Trump’s rallies. Even the other Republican presidential candidates seem in awe of the violent...
