The Charleston area open regatta season is in full swing. The James Island Yacht Club opened the season in June, but sailors will have opportunities to compete in four more regattas: Hobcaw Yacht Club, July 11-12; Charleston Yacht Club, July 18-19; Carolina Yacht Club, July 25-26; and Rockville Regatta at Sea Island Yacht Club, Aug. 1-2.
