Centrica to shed assets, staff, to focus on supply, services

LONDON (Reuters) - Centrica will cut around 10 percent of its workforce and sell up to 1 billion pounds worth of upstream and wind assets by 2017 as Britain's largest utility looks to focus on energy supply and services.
