Sprint reports smaller-than-expected loss, promises more cost cuts

(Reuters) - Sprint Corp reported a much smaller-than-expected first-quarter loss, along with record-low customer defections, and the company said it would continue to focus on the cost cuts that helped to drive its performance in the period.
