Islamist attacks draw Putin in from the cold

The announcement that Francois Hollande is to visit Moscow is a major step towards Russia's international rehabilitation after Ukraine. Reuters' Moscow Bureau Chief Christian Lowe says islamist violence has prompted a diplomatic thaw which has given Putin an opportunity to come in from the cold.
