Tokayev: China is not just a good neighbor, but a close friend

Astana, Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Akorda Presidential Palace in a narrow format.
At the beginning of the meeting, President Tokayev expressed his gratitude to President Xi Jinping for accepting the invitation to visit Kazakhstan.

"I believe your visit is of exceptional importance. The People's Republic of China is a friendly neighboring state, a vital strategic partner, and one of our key allies. I am pleased to note that Kazakh-Chinese relations, based on unbreakable friendship and mutual support, are developing at an unprecedented pace. I highly appreciate your significant contribution to strengthening the eternal comprehensive strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and China. I fully support your initiative to elevate cooperation between our two countries to a new level for the benefit of our peoples," emphasized the President of Kazakhstan.
