According to the document, amendments have been made to the order of the acting Minister of Healthcare dated September 21, 2023 №150 "On approval of the Sanitary Rules "Sanitary and Epidemiological Requirements for the Organization and Conduct of Preventive Vaccinations of the Population".
Now, consent or refusal of vaccination, according to updated data, will need to be issued in electronic format.
"Vaccinations are carried out after receiving informed electronic consent - in case of technical failures, a scanned version is attached - for vaccination of the vaccinated person or legal representative. Informed electronic consent for preventive vaccinations is issued electronically. (...) Informed electronic consent or refusal is entered into medical information systems," the document says.
It is also stated that a health worker who receives a call to a vaccinated person immediately responds to this call, provides emergency medical care and, if indicated, hospitalizes him.
"If an AEFI is suspected, the health worker immediately transmits an electronic emergency notification to the territorial division of the state body in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population; in case of technical failures, a scanned version is attached, as well as to the state expert organization in the field of circulation of medicines and medical devices through medical information systems online (portal) or by e-mail," the information specifies.
