Les dirigeants de la formation anglaise suivent de près l’évolution de Roony Bardghji, un ailier prometteur du FC Copenhague, actuellement en convalescence après une blessure sérieuse.
À 19 ans, Bardghji, qui évolue en équipe nationale Espoirs de Suède, a déjà montré des aptitudes remarquables sur le terrain. Lié au club danois jusqu’en 2025, il est toutefois absent depuis plusieurs mois à cause d’une rupture des ligaments croisés. Les experts estiment qu’il pourrait reprendre la compétition dès le début de l'année 2024. Cette absence n’a pas freiné les ambitions des recruteurs de Manchester City, qui semblent prêts à faire une offre dès que le joueur retrouvera sa forme optimale.
Avec un parcours déjà impressionnant, comprenant 15 buts et 1 passe décisive en 78 matchs, Bardghji a vu sa valeur estimée à 10 millions d'euros. Si son retour sur le terrain est concluant, il pourrait rapidement devenir une cible sérieuse pour les Citizens, désireux d’investir dans l’avenir.
