“We’ll all be out of jobs:“ PM jokes about artificial intelligence
Madiyev highlighted the limitless potential of AI applications.
"Today, we showcased initial developments that we are testing and implementing. Simultaneously, several acceleration programs have been launched with other government agencies in sectors such as mining, metallurgy, finance, and industry. Moreover, we’ve introduced a national AI platform, training 100 civil servants from different government bodies and economic sectors to utilize the platform and develop projects specific to their fields," Madiyev stated during the briefing.
He added that plans are in place to expand these initiatives to other government agencies.
"We don’t intend to monopolize this area within our ministry. Instead, we aim to train as many civil servants as possible so they can use the platform to develop relevant projects for their departments," the minister said.
At the meeting, Madiyev also presented the test-phase AI integration into the eGov mobile application.
During the discussion, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov jokingly asked Madiyev if the AI had recorded the government meeting. When the minister confirmed, Bektenov quipped:
"Then we’ll all be out of jobs."
Earlier, it was announced that civil servants will undergo training to effectively use AI tools.
