A member of the ruling Civil Contract party notorious for insulting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian’s critics and refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh on Wednesday withdrew his candidacy for a vacant seat in Armenia’s judicial oversight body following an uproar from opposition and civic groups.
