The usual three competitions during the last week which included the annual San Roque Valentine’s pairs competition. February so far is proving to be a quiet month with the number of those participating lower than January. This week we saw long standing members for over 20 years say their goodbyes to SR. Daniela Ricciarelli and Mario Corradi will be returning to Italy where we wish them well.

Mixed Competition Saturday February 15th
The weekend mixed competition took place with 35 golfers taking part. The weather conditions were ideal for a round of golf, with clear skies and mild temperatures. A light breeze kept things cool, while the course was in top condition, offering an enjoyable round but with a few challenging pin positions. This did not seem to affect the winner, Josh Hunter who scored 40 points with a gross 70. Well played Josh. The Lady Captain Nicky Triay finished second with an excellent 37 points which could have been a lot more.
