Foreign national wanted internationally detained in Pavlodar

Tengrinews.kz – A foreign national who was internationally wanted on suspicion of large-scale fraud has been detained in Pavlodar, according to Polisia.kz.
The suspect was identified and apprehended during the "Migrant" operational-preventive operation at one of Pavlodar’s industrial sites.

“The detainee is currently being held in a temporary detention facility. Work is underway to process his extradition to the country that initiated the search,” reported the Pavlodar Region Police Department.

During the three-day "Migrant" operation, 262 people were held administratively accountable — 175 of them were foreign nationals and 87 were citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Thirteen foreign citizens have been deported, and in five other cases, materials were submitted to the court to decide on deportation through civil proceedings.
