Real estate development company Darnu Group, together with a team of Lithuanian hydrobiologists and divers, is beginning this year's effort to clear litter from the Neris riverbed within the city limits of Vilnius. The cleanup will cover the stretch of the river from the White Bridge to the Lazdynai district. The first 8 kilometres mark the beginning of a larger commitment: over the next few years, the company plans to clean the entire watercourse within the capital, covering approximately 24 kilometres.
