WhatsApp Head Will Cathcart Talks about the Introduction of Ads to the Messenger Service

"No ads" was once the mantra of the founders of WhatsApp. Now, the service has announced it will be introducing advertisements. Chats, though, are to be kept ad-free. DER SPIEGEL spoke with WhatsApp head Will Cathcart about the plans.
