White House reviewing Pentagon report on closing Guantanamo prison

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama's national security team is in the final stages of reviewing a proposal from the Pentagon on closing the U.S military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, a senior Obama administration official said on Friday.
