Senator says lack of confidence in federal government creates need for tracking, halting aid to refugees

COLUMBIA — An Upstate opponent of South Carolina accepting refugees said there is little that could change his mind regarding a proposed bill that would track refugees. A second bill would prohibit state agencies from providing refugees aid.
