Tokayev arrives in Turkestan

Tengrinews.kz – President Tokayev has arrived in Turkestan, citing Akorda.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in the city to take part in the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States.

Today, May 15, Turkestan will host an informal summit of leaders of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States. The theme of the summit is “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development.” The President of Turkey will also take part in the event.

As a reminder, on May 13–14, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited Astana on a state visit at the invitation of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The heads of state held talks, discussing the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations.
In addition, Tokayev and Erdogan held the sixth meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between Kazakhstan and Turkey.
