From 2 to 3.4 million tenge per month - the highest-paying vacancies named by the Ministry of Labor
Tengrinews.kz — The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has released updated data on vacancies from the Enbek.kz electronic labor exchange. Officials also shared details regarding salary offers and the expectations of Kazakhstani job seekers for June 2026, citing on the ministry's website.
According to the ministry, employers posted 108,700 vacancies last month, while job seekers submitted 126,700 resumes.
In terms of demand by industry, education leads the way (19,200 vacancies). Significant demand remains in other service sectors (16,500), agriculture, forestry, and fisheries (12,100), healthcare and social services (9,500), as well as construction (8,400) and manufacturing (7,300).
The highest number of vacancies was recorded in the Turkistan region (12,300), Astana (8,500), Zhambyl region (7,000), and Karaganda region (6,700).
High-skilled specialists are required in 25 percent of all vacancies. The remaining openings are split almost equally between medium-skilled and low-skilled positions.
Candidates under the age of 35 dominate the pool of applicants (accounting for 49 percent of all resumes), which is significantly higher than in previous months and is attributed to recent graduates entering the market. The 35–44 age group represents 25 percent of applicants, those aged 45–54 make up 17 percent, and those over 55 account for 9 percent. Women account for 55 percent of job seekers, while men make up 45 percent.
The labor supply structure by skill level remains generally comparable to the demand structure.
In June, the vacancies offering the highest salaries included positions for division directors (approximately 1.98 million tenge), , deputy heads of departments (approximately 1.38 million tenge), and the and well engineers (1.31 million tenge)..
Among job seekers, the highest salary expectations were recorded for pilots (approximately 3.4 million tenge), systems architects (2.5 million tenge), and the and surgeons (2 million tenge)..
"The June data reflects a recovery in business activity on the platform following the May dip: both supply and demand have reached their highest levels since the start of the year. The demand structure remains stable — the primary needs of employers are concentrated in the social sphere, the service sector, and seasonal industries, while the supply side saw increased activity from young people, including educational graduates," the Ministry of Labor stated.
Since the beginning of the year, 604,400 vacancies and 736,000 resumes have been posted on the platform.
