“Before and after the fire“ - rescuers showed footage that people rarely see

Tengrinews.kz — Emergency responders in the Jetisu region have offered a rare glimpse behind the scenes of their daily operations. A video showcasing the routine life of firefighters was shared online.
The footage was released by the Ministry of Emergency Situations via its official Telegram channel. The video begins by showing the firefighters in pristine uniforms and full gear, ready to respond to their next call.
The clip then transitions to scenes filmed immediately after a fire was extinguished. The exhaustion is visible on the officers' faces, their uniforms and equipment covered in soot and grime.

Through this short video, the department aims to remind the public of the immense effort and sacrifice required of rescuers for every fire they put out.
Firefighters regularly risk their lives in the line of duty. A notable incident occurred on December 12, 2025, in Uralsk during a residential fire on Tsiolkovsky Street. While battling the blaze, a rescuer caught in an explosion miraculously escaped unharmed and continued working. The video of the moment went viral, sparking widespread praise. The hero of the footage was identified as Kuanysh Tleshov.

Following the incident, he shared that many Kazakhstanis had reached out expressing concern for his well-being. Tleshov assured everyone he was fine and added that he considers being a rescuer the best job in the world.
