WhatsApp fixes one of its most annoying problems

Tengrinews.kz — WhatsApp has introduced three new tools for group chats. They are designed to make it easier to organize discussions, conduct polls and manage large communities. The updates have already begun rolling out gradually to iOS and Android users.
How polls will change
According to a post on the WhatsApp blog, developers have upgraded the polling feature by adding several new options.
Users will now be able to:

set a deadline for voting;hide participants’ names;edit the question within 15 minutes of creating the poll.

WhatsApp says the changes will make polls more convenient for everyday tasks, such as choosing a meeting time, deciding on a holiday destination or making group decisions.
What will change with the “@all” command
A new “@all” command has been added to group chats, allowing users to notify all participants with a single message.
The feature may be useful for quickly informing everyone about a change of plans, an important announcement or other information that all members need to see.

In groups with more than 32 participants, only administrators will be able to use the command.
Users will also be able to manage these notifications themselves and disable them in the settings when necessary.
Previously, users had to tag participants individually or hope that an important message would not get lost in the conversation.
What else is coming to chats
Another update will allow users to create a new group chat based on an existing one.
All participants will be added automatically, eliminating the need to invite each person manually.
Developers believe the feature will be useful for organizing events, preparing surprises or discussing specific topics without cluttering the main chat.
When the updates will become available
According to WABetaInfo, the new features have already begun rolling out to WhatsApp users on Android and iPhone worldwide.
The company has not announced an exact date for the full rollout. Such updates usually become available to all users gradually over several weeks.
This is not WhatsApp’s first major update in recent months. The company recently began gradually introducing several new calling features. Users can now make calls through a browser without installing the app, transfer calls between devices and benefit from improved call quality.
