2 deputies wounded, suspect dead in Maryland shopping center shootout

ABINGDON, Md. — A man shot a sheriff’s deputy in the head inside a crowded restaurant at lunchtime Wednesday and wounded another deputy during a shootout, authorities and witnesses said.
