Orani, Bataan – This first class municipality celebrates its 119th year anniversary this week highlighted by a five-day trade fair, according to Orani Mayor Benjie Serrano. Dubbed as the province’s seafood capital for its production of prawns, bangus and tilapia Orani is expected to draw crowds and thousands of tourists and pilgrims for the celebration “Araw ng Orani.” The famous ‘Alimango and Sugpo (crabs and prawns) festival will be held on March 11 at the Orani People’s Park, which is a sprawling and uniquely designed park set up by Serrano under his watch. Among the highlights of the celebration will be a street dancing competition which will be participated in by students wearing colorful costumes and props.
