Q&A with artist Brian Rutenberg

Looking at him now, you’d never guess that Myrtle Beach-born Brian Rutenberg, 50, once was a squatter. He slept on a bench in the College of Charleston’s Fine Arts department so he could devote as much time as possible to making art.
