Starting next month, policemen will be receiving a regular increase in their take-home pay after President Aquino’s Executive Order approving the additional benefits package for government employee took effect recently. Philippine National Police (PNP) Director Danilo Pelisco, head of the Directorate for Comptrollership, said what the policemen will receive would just be the first tranche of the approved additional benefits. “The grant of additional benefits, in the form of monthly Provisional Allowance for Military and Uniformed Personnel, Officers’ Allowance and increased Hazard Pay, will be implemented in the next pay period in April,” said Pelisco. But he said that increase differentials for January, February and March 2016 were already released last March 23 through the individual Land Bank of the Philippines ATM payroll accounts of PNP personnel.
