Here’s a morale boost for Vice President Jejomar Binay amid his survey stumble. The Brother Mike Velarde-led Catholic Charismatic Group, El Shaddai, has announced its endorsement of the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) standard-bearer’s Palace bid via its radio station, DWXI 1314. According to DWXI, Binay came out as the near unanimous choice by El Shaddai members in an internal survey. DWXI hosts Bro. Raffy de los Reyes and Rey Vargas affirmed that the congregation’s choice was supported by El Shaddai leader, Velarde. The group, established in 1992, claims a membership of eight million.
