Charleston Parks Conservancy volunteers put the finishing touches - 20,000 plants - on Colonial Lake

This spring hundreds of volunteers and staff with the Charleston Parks Conservancy have been working to plant an estimated 20,000 trees, bushes, grasses, bulbs and other ground covers in an effort to turn Colonial Lake into Charleston’s signature public park.
