Running shoe companies say Sanford proposal would thwart American manufacturing, S.C. economy

WASHINGTON -- U.S. Rep. Mark Sanford says he runs in New Balance sneakers, but that endorsement probably won’t be enough to quell the sneaker company’s frustrations with the South Carolina Republican.
