The Philippine Navy’s first Strategic Sealift Vessel (SSV) was commissioned yesterday during its 118th anniversary celebration at Pier 13, South Harbor, Manila, yesterday. President Aquino (inset), who had earlier said the vessel may serve as military floating dock to replenish resources, was the special guest and speaker.
